The Crested Sapphire Adakite East Ring by Emily Nixon – Characteristically irregular and as if naturally formed, each Adakite ring is one-of-a-kind, determined by the natural hue of the central sapphire. A classic three stone engagement ring with a non traditional beauty. Handcrafted in Cornwall and cast in 18ct recycled yellow gold using the traditional lost wax process, it exudes natural beauty and timeless elegance.

Constant experimentation, playfulness and development of ideas, alongside a mindfulness of the relationship each piece has with the wearer, drives Emily’s creative process and output. The dichotomy of the precious and the organic – special stones encircled by sea-worn fragments of gold – characterises so much of her inspiration. At the heart of Emily Nixon’s work remains the sculpture and tapestry of her early fine art practice.
