Fioritura Art Ring

Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2024 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

The Fioritura Art Ring by Mia Chicco is a celebration of individuality and personal growth, inspired by the Japanese concept of Oubaitori—the idea that, like flowers, we bloom in our own time and on our own path. Meticulously crafted in 9ct yellow gold, this stunning 2.5mm round band features three organic settings, each cradling a vibrant green sapphire. These natural, unheated sapphires—sourced from Queensland, Australia, showcasing their unique beauty and ethical origins. A meaningful, one-of-a-kind ring, The Fioritura Ring reminds us to embrace our journey, cherish our uniqueness, and bloom at our own pace.

Mia says about her Art Ring:

“To bloom. THE FIORITURA RING is inspired by the Japanese notion of Oubaitori which is the idea that people, like flowers, bloom in their own time and follow their own individual journeys. A reminder to not compare oneself to others but instead focus on uniqueness.”
