The Sapphire Barnacle Bay Ring by Emily Nixon features a distinctive arrangement of irregular, pebble-like settings—each delightfully askew in a beautifully organic formation. Handcrafted by Emily using the traditional lost wax casting method, this sculptural piece is made in Cornwall from 18ct recycled and refined yellow gold. A bold yet wearable statement ring that celebrates texture, asymmetry, and nature’s quiet unpredictability.

Constant experimentation, playfulness and development of ideas, alongside a mindfulness of the relationship each piece has with the wearer, drives Emily’s creative process and output. The dichotomy of the precious and the organic – special stones encircled by sea-worn fragments of gold – characterises so much of her inspiration. At the heart of Emily Nixon’s work remains the sculpture and tapestry of her early fine art practice.
